engagement photography | special

To all those gorgeous brides-to-be out there enjoying your engagement… I’m guessing you’re looking through these pages on my website because your other half planned a surprise trip away for you, took you on a romantic picnic, made you your favourite tea… but ultimately got down on one knee and asked you to marry him… and of course you said ‘YES!!’ Congratulations!

Today’s post is all about the engagement and there’s a little freebie too… So did your man choose the ring, did he design you something special and do you love it? Perhaps you picked it together? We’d love to hear your love story, how did he ask you?

Your engagement is a special and exciting time… it’s the place where it all begins; here starts the wedding planning, finding THE dress, picking colours, flowers, a venue, the photographer, a style… all to celebrate the start of a marriage with the guy of your dreams. What a wonderful journey to be on.

To celebrate with all you brides-to-be out there I’m offering a FREE engagement shoot to those couples who book their wedding photography with me before 26th July 2014. Please get in touch to check availability and for more details on the wedding photography package. Wedding photography from £1250. And remember you can always celebrate your love with a ‘Together’ photo session, engaged, married or whatever….

The engagement shoot is not only a lot of fun and a great way for us to get to know each other, it also allows you to get used to the camera and makes you feel more at ease in front of it on your wedding day. You also are left with some beautiful photos that will be a lasting memory of your engagement.

My style of wedding photography is fine art reportage, I love to tell the story of a wedding day as it unfolds. I love capturing those special and memorable moments, the beautiful details and the secret glances. I like to capture natural shots of guests laughing and having a good time, along with all the little things you may miss in the flow of the day. I am unobtrusive in my approach capturing the day from the bride’s excited preparations in the morning through to the romantic first dance in the evening. I want my photographs to do more than just remind you of the day, I want them to evoke the same emotions, the smiles, tears and laughter that made your wedding so special.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Meanwhile here are a few ring shots…
