Martha and Ian’s & Henry and Brenna’s engagement shoot

I photographed Martha and Ian up in Danefield woods on the Chevin, Otley, on a gorgeous autumn day, the colours of the trees and the blue sky made for the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. I very much enjoyed our little wander around the woods and hope they did too. Martha and Ian are very lovely friends to have and I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their big day. I very much look forward to their wedding in February, but until then here are a few photographs from the engagement shoot… Big love, Jane x

Henry, Brenna and Finn came back to Yorkshire from their home in Austin, Texas, for Henry and Brenna’s wedding at the end of July. We took a trip to a corn field in Farnley, near Otley, on a lovely summers day to do a bit of a pre-wedding photo shoot (I realise this blog post is rather on the late side as you may have already seen their wedding on an earlier post) but better late than never! I look forward to seeing them all again on their next trip back to Yorkshire. x

Hannah & Phil’s Wedding Blog

Hannah and Phil got married on a beautiful day in September. Hannah looked absolutely stunning in her Kate Moss dress and everything about the day suited the couple down to the ground. I was especially excited to photograph Hannah and Phil’s big day as I grew up with Hannah and her family. The Cruck Barn is situated in Appletreewick and surrounded by beautiful scenery the day couldn’t have been more wonderful. I wish them all the happiness in the world, and thank them for having me there on their wedding day. x

Andy & Bryony Blog

Andy and Bryony got married at the Red Lion in Burnsall and went on to celebrate with their friends and family at the Cracoe Village Hall near Skipton. They had family and friends help them with all the catering and decorating of the village hall. There was chilli and cakes, bunting and games to name but a few. The venue really suited Andy and Bryony’s love for the outdoors, as both the Red Lion and Cracoe Village Hall are surrounded by lush green fields, dry stone walls and an abundance of beautiful views. I wish Andy and Bryony a long and happy life together and thank them for having me there on their special day. Jane x

Hen & Bren’s Wedding

Henry and Brenna celebrated their wedding at the Sun Pavilion, Harrogate on a gorgeous day in July. After officially getting married at home in Austin, Texas, they came to England to celebrate with lots of their friends and family. The wedding had a truely unique feel to it, the bride and groom looked absolutely stunning, as did all their table decorations. The attention to detail was impeccable. I wish Henry and Brenna a life time of love and laughter along with their beautiful son Finn. Many thanks for having me there on your special day. x

Katy & Matt / Sarah & Andrew Engagement Shoot

Katy and Matt are getting married at the end of October at Castle Howard and so we thought we’d go and see the venue and take a few shots whilst we were there. I had lots of fun, I hope they did too. Heres a sneak peak of some of them. I look forward to their big day x

Sarah and Andrew are a fun and energetic couple and really got into the spirit of their engagement shoot. We took a walk down by the river Wharfe, just outside Pool in Wharfedale, stopping off in a few corn fields and climbing a few trees on the way. Here are a few photos from the mini adventure. x

Debbie and Tom got married at Adel Church then headed over to the Cruck Barn in Appletreewick. Debbie (of ohcupcake.co.uk) not only made a spectacular wedding cake but also grew all her own flowers for the bouquets and to decorate the Cruck Barn with. The wedding venue, which is surrounded by lush green countryside and stunning views, really was a gorgeous part of the world to have such a celebration.
